Don't worry, this guilty free, low-carb, chip alternative is a lot less scary than it looks.

Remember that satisfying feeling of digging your hand into a bag of chip and shoving a big handful of greasy, processed, potato-ie goodness into your mouth. Well, that feeling of satisfaction is usually quickly followed by the feeling of regret.

I'm here to save you from yourself, so listen up people. We've all been guilty of over indulging in a salty snack, but I promise if you make the switch to this veggie alternative you will thank me later.

Did I lose you yet?

I hope not, because I have some incredibly delicious kale chips coming your way people!

What you'll need:

1. 1 bunch/bag of kale

2. Olive oil

3. Seasonings of your choice (salt for sure)

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F

2. Start by cutting or tearing the leaves off of the stem into bitesize pieces and wash the kale throughly.

3. Spread out the clean kale onto a baking tray on top of a sheet of parchment paper

4. Coat the kale with oil and massage. Add desired seasonings and cook 10-15 minutes, until edges are almost burnt.

Things you should remember:

- 1 bunch of pre-cooked kale makes a nice snack for 1-2 people because kale shrinks like spinach

- Be creative! Add what ever is in your pantry; truffle oil, some garlic cloves, or even Everything But the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joes.
